The First Annual Calgary Zombie Walk was such a remarkable success that we are doing it all over again this year! It takes place on Saturday, October 14th. Rise from the grave, meet your undead brethren, and take over downtown Calgary! A detailed schedule and description of the route ARE NOW available in the Walk Like A Zombie section!

This year, the Calgary Zombie Walk was bigger, better, and bloodier than ever! Calgary's gravest ghouls really outdid themselves this time around, with more gore and amazing makeup and costumes. All in all, over 500 of the city's deadest took to the streets and zombies young and old had a great afternoon. Thanks to all of you for coming on out and making this such an awesome event!
Remember: zombies are only really effective as massive swarming crowds.
We also want to thank The Warehouse Nightclub for hosting another great afterparty!

Hey there!
A lot of people have been asking, so I figured it was time to send out some sort of note...
The 2nd Annual Calgary Zombie Walk will take place on Saturday, October 14th. Details regarding the meeting time and place, as well as the route and plans for an afterparty, are still being finalized and will be posted here shortly. In the meantime, start working on those costumes... over 300 of you came out last year and looked amazingly disgusting in various states of undead decay, so this year let's take it up a notch, shall we?
More cadavers! More blood! More fun!!

Some of the photos from the 1st Annual Calgary Zombie Walk are now available on the Calgary Zombie Blog. We apologize for the delay in getting photos posted. The original plan was to integrate the photo gallery into the website, but due to problems with the software (that are peculiar to our web host) that was not meant to be. However, we hope you enjoy the blog, which currently features photos submitted by Dale Rosetti! Plans are already in the works for the 2006 Zombie Walk, which promises to be a bloody affair indeed.

The First Annual Calgary Zombie Walk was a complete success! We've estimated that at least 250 cadavers rose from thier graves and joined the horde. Everyone looked amazing - the time, energy, and creativity that you put into your zombie attire was impressive. The afternoon was awesome - it was so much fun to mingle with our fellow undead and see how much enthusiasm everyone had for this event. We have to thank everyone for coming out and making Calgary's first Zombie Walk such a huge success!

You'll be credited for your shots (or you can be anonymous if you prefer) and you'll help make sure the next Zombie Walk is even bigger and better!
